About Carolyn Schrader
I am an experienced business manager, with a background in start-up businesses as well as large established businesses. My expertise includes technology, marketing, organizational behavior, compliance and general business management. I take a holistic view to business efficiency. This approach encompasses energy (use and options), resources (use, reuse and recycling), processes (people and approaches) and human resources (quantity, quality and alignment).
I am a LEED Green Associate, working with clients to focus on the triple bottom line: economic growth, social responsibility and environmental stewardship.
Community Involvement
I am a member of Rotary International.Our local club is actively involved in a literacy program for children, planting neighborhood trees and other projects to support both our local and global communities.
I am the treasurer for STEAC, a local nonprofit serving people in need with emergency assistance.
When living in New Mexico a few years ago, I was very involved with the county Humane Society and started a nonprofit organization for a local state park.
Energy Training Continues
I have gained a thorough background in energy efficiency through numerous classes and seminars on energy and green business. I spend over 20% of my time in continuous education in this evolving field. My goal is to provide my customers with the most current options, information and practical steps for changes.
I am secretary of WEEnet - Women's in Energy Efficiency Network.
